Our spring and summer provided the ideal growing conditions in the Upper Yarra Valley. Intermittent (and much needed) rain and warm sunshine.

The fruit set in November was perfect this year with little or no wind at that time. A dry March allowed for perfect conditions, slow ripening of fruit with cool nights.

"Estate grown, pigeage (traditional grape stomping), transferred to old oak vat for fermentation for 20 months in barrel. The colour is exceptional for Nebbiolo, bright garner, the bouquet exudes rose petals, spices and a hint of Campari. The red fruits of the palate rest on a bed of civilised tannins. Right out of left field. 95 points drink until 2028."
